The end of a provisional champion
On lap 22, Day's Ferrari loses rear end grip entering the start finish straight and experiences a nasty side impact into the double pit armco at 95 mph+. Luckily for Day, GPL does not model physical injury. ;-) This not only ended Oli's Day (pun intended ;-), but also robbed him of the #1 spot in the championship.
