Christoph "Grimmi" Grimlowski
Christoph Grimlowski, better known as Grimmi, lives in Radevormwald, a 25,000 town ca. 50 km away from Cologne and a few km away from his native city Wuppertal, the city with the "flying trains". He has a wife, Conny, and three children, two boys named after famous former American bike-racers, Kenny, now 24, and 21 year old Randy, and 11 year old daughter Celine. Grimmi works in the town-hall of Radevormwald. He began virtual racing on the old Atari-Console....maybe "Pole Position". Later he drove the GP-Series by Geoff Crammond, and one day he started with Nascar and Indy Car II by Papyrus. When GPL was released, Grimmi enjoyed to compare his lap-times with colleagues, but because of his bad internet-connection he always raced offline. He never was one of the fastest drivers, but always had fun with racing simulations. Someday he heard about rfactor, ordered it and searched the net for further information. He discovered the rfrank-site and one day there was a contact between Uwe Schürkamp and Grimmi, which leads him to the Screamers League. Grimmi has some other hobbies than racing simulations (too many in his wife's opinion): the sea-rescue-organisations around the world (he maintained a homepage about sea-rescueing), model-building, especially ships and railroads, photograph and naturally his family. If he had more time and money he would travel to the coasts to photograph all the rescue-vessels in the world.In the past Grimmi rode MX-motobikes, he had a Maico 440 and a Yamaha 125, but this ended with starting a family.
