Joachim "jo" Lueg-Althoff
Jo Lueg was born in Germany on October 4th, 1951 in Luedenscheid a small country side close to the industrial region called Ruhrgebiet. He lived there with his parents for the first 20 years of his life. Between the age of 16 and 20 he was a bass player in a rock band "We were inspired from groups like the Stones, Pink Floyd, Cream, etc". When he turned 20 Jo Lueg went to Frankfurt for engineering studies and lived there for 20 years. During that time he spent 3 years in Singapore and 2 years in Switzerland as a design engineer and service manager. He then went back to his home town of Luedenscheid and now is the president of a company called Neosid. Jo Lueg has been happily married since 1990 and has a lovely daughter. "I have been doing online racing since GPL was released under the name of Jo Lueg". He has been sim racing since 1990. Beside his regular job he founded a one man show business in 2005, called JL virtual racing hardware (www.jlvrh.de). He is selling progressive braking systems as an update for VPP-Pedals and a high end FFB wheel converted from the Logitech G25.
