Age 40 Married 3 children - Lewis (21), Megan (16, going on 18), Corinne (13, WANTS to be 18!) Likes - drinking, smoking, motorcycles, FPS, F1 sims and good company Been into sim racing for a long time - started with Ferrari F1 Racer for the Amiga, although I had a ZX81, Speccy etc before but NO driving games. On the Amiga, I also played F1 (Geoffy Boy), Stunt Car Racer, Indy500 and then moved onto the PC. Played many driving games on the PC, until that fateful Xmas of 98. Mrs bought me GPL and I never looked back! Joined the LeGeNDS League in 2000 and enjoyed many a races with the likes of Achim Trenz, Brian Bushe and other GPL notables!! ;) Was active in the league for 4 years, spending the first 19 months driving soley with a joystick, no pedals! Interest in the league began to wane (not just me, but others became less active) Played almost ALL of the F1 sims (din't like them at all), tried GTR, but never really got on with it and always kept going back to GPL. During 2005, after an abortive try at F3's in the Legends league, I had a break from simming, waiting for the right one to come along.. Rfactor was a revelation, but none of the MODS seemed to light my fire. Went back onto a sim sabbactical, waiting for that mod to be released that I would be interested in - any early(ish) F1 mod was my interest. I remember seeing screenshots of the Simbin 1977 Mod and that made me DROOL!! Another joy of my computer experiences has been playing FPS. Played Ghost Recon, all of the Rainbow series etc.. Been playing Battfield 2 in a clan since Oct 2005 - and now F1 1979 is out I have a renewed enthusiasm in simming again - the last time I spent HOURS on a racing sim, was trying to break the 8 minutes at the Ring in GPL.
