Stacey Greensall
It turned out a tough race for me today.
I messed up my first quali run, then I started to panic abit, but on
my 3rd attempt I secured 2nd place behind Hristo which was all I was
after...
I got the hole shot and led to t1, and for a few laps I made a real
nice gap betwen Hristo on myself as we sprinted away from the pack.
Hristo then started to catch me abit, then all of a sudden when he was
about 1s behind, he dissapeared from screen and scoreboard and I
thought the race was won, so I dropped my pace to keep safe.
The race went on nicely until the stops and i had to pit 2laps early
cos of the draft.
Then I came out in 5th, With Hristo now ahead (obviously not
disconnected) lol
I then had to turn the wick up a bit and race down the pack with a
heavier fuel load and it was hard stoppin Hristo from running away
with it at that point.
By the time everyone had pitted, it was just me and Hristo out front
again, and just like last week we had same weight and he had 5laps to
gain 6s, so I just pegged his pace and let him gain around a 1sec/lap
until we crossed the line 1s apart :)
Gr all, It's shame Hristo had issues, cos I think I had a genuine
challlenge for him today.
I cant believe I'm still unbeaten in this chassis too, but again I
wasnt the fastest.

I had a perfect race, apart from the 10 seconds freeze on lap 6 or so
that cost me any chance of victory. Did a 21 in qualifying and it was
more than enough for pole position, but again made a bad start and
lost 1st place to Stacey. Oliver was pushing me as well over the next
2 laps until he had a wobble at Moss. After that I put pressure on
Stacey and was planning on a pass but then that freeze happened. When
I came out of it the car was spinning into the grass, but I managed to
continue in 8th position, some 16 seconds down on Stacey.
Caught up with the people ahead in a few laps and passing them wasn't
as much of a problem as I expected because most of them either gave
way easily or went off as I got closer. I hit the pitwall at that
time, but I'm not sure if that caused the damage or the spin during
the freeze earlier. It was causing some understeer in the right
handers. Eventually I was up to 2nd again and with Stacey doing an
earlier pitstop I found myself in the lead with Uwe behind. I made my
stop with 8 laps to go or something, it was a rather good stop
considering I didn't practice it before. I came out 6 seconds behind
Stacey, but Uwe somehow managed to stay on the track even longer and
pitted later after leading for a bit.
I did my best to catch Stacey, but simply ran out of laps. Despite the
damaged car and worn out tyres I could do a 22.5 on my last lap and
finish 0.8 behind Stacey, which was good, considering. Hopefully I'll
find out what's causing those long freezes until the next race.

Fine racing in the first third with Lars, Uwe and Oliver. Had some colour exchange and a frightening moment with Lars in the big right hander after the jump hill, when I forced myself almost in a spin. But was able to catch it and remain in front of Uwe.
Did a pit stop in Lap 12 and had an almost clear track after that. Thank you David for giving me such an easy pass ;-). Had to find the right balance between speed and tire wear during mid race and received the confirmation in about lap 25 when I was able to pass Uwe who was just leaving the pit lane.
My congrats to Stacey and Histro who were racing in a league of their own.
